The 1 Day Lake Mburo Safari takes you to a tour to the smallest reserve in Uganda that harbors several wildlife species not observed elsewhere in Uganda. This tour takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the Kampala City into a serene place that is only 4 hours away from Kampala City.
This is the only place in Uganda which supports a population of impala and the only one of the three protected areas countrywide where Burchell’s zebra occurs. Other antelopes easily seen are topi, bush buck, common duiker, oribi, Defassa waterbuck and Bofor reedbuck.

Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda, is the country’s smallest savannah national park but it offers one of the most rewarding short safari experiences. Just a 3–4 hour drive from Kampala, the park is ideal for a day trip and offers rich biodiversity including zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and over 300 bird species. This itinerary is perfect for travelers with limited time who want a true taste of Uganda’s wildlife, nature, and adventure in just one day.
